The St. Louis IT Entrepreneur Network (ITEN) (www.itenstl.org) is a region-wide network supporting the emergence of a thriving and robust entrepreneurial community that creates successful IT ventures. ITEN is a not for profit initiative of the St. Louis IT Coalition and Innovate St. Louis started in April of 2008 with initial funding from the Missouri Technology Corporation.
ITEN works with innovative early-stage ventures that are information technology based, have an IT product or service, or use IT as their primary means of delivering their product or service. ITEN provides these ventures with mentors, specialized acceleration programs, access to investors and connections to other resources and services that hasten success.
The Network includes over 150 start-up information technology companies and 90+ mentors with expertise in the critical areas needed by early stage IT ventures. ITEN is affiliated with over 30 investors and investor groups looking for high growth opportunities. An Advisory Board representing the various stakeholders in ITEN's success suggests policy and provides direction.
