Elizabeth Effertz has enterprise responsibility for evaluating and reporting on the information systems controls, assurance and security at Monsanto. Her team works closely with the financial audit team to ensure that all financially relevant systems are in compliance with various regulatory requirements, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Her primary expertise is in business process improvement, resulting in streamlined processes and reduced costs. Prior to her current role at Monsanto, Beth was the Program Office Lead for Enterprise Applications, where she managed a portfolio of large application implementation projects. Prior to coming to Monsanto, she was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting and a Principal Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions, focused in both roles with helping numerous companies drive cost reduction and standard business processes using SAP as an enabler.

Beth completed the Monsanto Leadership Development Forum and is working on her CISA certification. She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis and Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from St. Louis University.
