Mr. Garrison brings 30 years of deep Information Technology knowledge and experience in advanced enterprise architecture and design techniques. Richard spent 17 years working for the Hewlett Packard Company providing integration and implementation consulting services for complex infrastructure solutions for a diverse list of Fortune 100 corporations. He has both a keen understanding of a broad array of technology solutions as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts with Executive leadership. In his tenure at Centene Corporate he has led the efforts to drive for a robust, cost effective, technical architecture built on the foundation principles of: Scalability, Resilience and High Availability. All designed to support the continued business growth model at Centene. Richard has introduced technologies and/or technology disciplines such as: Enterprise Architecture, Server Virtualization, Enterprise Storage, Information Technology Service Management strategy (based on ITIL), Standardized Operating Platforms as well as developing a robust Disaster Recovery program for Centene. Richard also lead the development of Centene’s long term datacenter strategy which has resulted in creation of a new, 15-20 year life, corporate datacenter with a fully redundant disaster recovery datacenter along with the enhanced ITSM Processes to ensure IT Operational efficiency. Richard joined Centene Corporation in 2004 and continues to provide strategic technical direction.
