Tracie Gildehaus is the Director of Portal and Business Applications for Scottrade, Inc., a leading branch-supported online investment firm based in St. Louis, Mo. She has more than 10 years of experience in corporate communication and founded the internal communication department at Scottrade in 2000. Tracie oversees the firm’s intranet portal and enterprise 2.0 strategies, including intranet portal design, integration, collaboration, content management and governance.

Since starting at Scottrade, Tracie has been instrumental in the firm’s use of technology to effectively communicate to associates. She has also successfully led the implementation and delivery of new enterprise portal technology and Scottrade’s corporate intranet. As part of Scottrade’s senior management group, Tracie advises at the executive level on internal communication strategies.

In 2008, Scottrade’s internal wiki application earned the firm an Intranet Innovation Award in an international contest sponsored by Step Two Designs, an intranet consulting firm. In 2006 and again in 2008, Tracie was named a “Leader in the Workplace” by the St. Louis YWCA. She is also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Tracie has recently presented at Melcrum’s 2008 Strategic Communication Management Summit, the Institute for International Research’s IT & Business Alignment Forum and the IABC.

Tracie is a graduate of the University of Missouri- St. Louis and has a Bachelor of Science in Communication.
