Kent Hillman has worked for the State of Missouri Office of Administration State Data Center (SDC) for over 12 years. During that time he has managed backup and recovery systems for over 1,000 systems representing over eight State agencies. In addition to backup and recovery he has been a part of consolidation efforts of over 14 State agencies. This consolidation effort has included the migration of technologies to various virtual platforms and implementation of numerous emerging technologies and processes. His career outside the State Data Center has included designing/building data acquisition systems for C-K Engineering (Ballwin, MO). He has also been an adjunct faculty member of Columbia College for five years.
