Jim Meece is currently the Sr. Infrastructure Design Engineer at Emerson. He is responsible for the Architecture and Design for the Emerson Global Data Center Virtual Infrastructure. Emerson's Global Data center, under IT Shared Services, is serving as a Private Cloud environment which is hosting workloads for the various lines of business as they are consolidated into IT Shared Services. Jim is also responsible for the creation and hand off of the operational guides.

Jim has received a vExpert recognition for 2009 and is currently a member of the VMware Customer Advisory Council. He also leads the St. Louis VMware Users Group (VMUG) and is a member of the VMUG Advisory Council.

Prior to joining Emerson, Jim spent 16 Years with A.G. Edwards; the last 4 of which he served as the Product Manager for Virtualization where he architected and designed their Enterprise Virtual Infrastructure.
