Mike Paasch is the Vice President, Regional CIO for SSM Health Care – St. Louis.

Mike is responsible for the Information Systems and Telecommunications needs to support the entities and business units within SSMHC-STL. This includes working together with Network Leadership and Entity Leadership to provide enabling technology to support the Strategic Business initiatives of the organization and to standardize applications and support models across SSMHC-STL for improved efficiency and sharing of information and processes.

Mike is heavily involved in the SSM Health Care initiative to implement a standard Electronic Health Record across the organization. This includes the selection, design and implementation of the EHR. SSMHC-STL currently has 3 hospital and 125+ physicians installed.

Mike has been an employee of SSM Health Care for 25 years serving in various roles. He has been in his current role since 1999. Mike received his undergraduate degree in MIS from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and his MBA from Lindenwood University.
