Peter Gray is an Assistant Professor of Commerce at the McIntire School, University of Virginia.
Professor Gray leads the Technology Enabled Networks group of The Network Roundtable, a consortium of 75 organizations sponsoring research on network applications to critical management issues. He has a background in electronic commerce and online information services and has worked in a variety of information technology and management consulting positions. His areas of expertise and research include:
• Competitive strategy and information systems strategy
• Collaborative impacts of organizational networks, virtual teams, online communities, and knowledge management systems
• Social technologies that empower employees to interact and collaborate in important new ways
Professional Activities: Professor Gray is a member of the editorial review boards of
Organization Science and
Information Technology & People, has served as a track chair for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and is a regular presenter at various national and international conferences. His recent research has been conducted at a variety of Fortune 100 companies and has been published in top-tier academic journals.
