Mr. Tim Shanahan has been in the information technology industry for 14 years.  For nine of these years he was a Director at SunGard Availability Services focusing on Disaster Recovery Services, Hosting, Data Storage/Replication, and Consulting Services for Security and Risk Mitigation.

For the last three years Tim has been focusing specifically on Data Loss Prevention of the most important asset of an organization, it’s intellectual property.  The acceleration of corporate data loss events over the last 18-24 months has caused this concern to quickly become one of the top three initiatives for 67% of today’s CIOs and CISOs in fiscal 2009 and 2010.  Mr. Shanahan has assisted numerous large organizations in the successful deployment of enterprise focused Data Loss Prevention programs.

Mr. Shanahan has a BA in Economics from Illinois State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.
